Mono-green Kona could not be stopped as Gavin followed up a 3-0 semifinal performance with another dominant showing in the finals.. jumping out ahead for good after cheating out a Portal to Phyrexia.

What is Bracket 3 Commander League?

  • It's exactly what it sounds like! Bracket 3 League is a way for Commander players to play Magic in an organized League format, and this website will help players track their progress through each season of League play.
  • The League meets on Monday nights and consists of three games each League night. Players use our points sheet system to track their achievements through each game and submit their results. Scores are tabulated across each season and the top players compete at the end of each season for prizes.

How do we keep things balanced? Bracket 3 is a wide and sometimes nebulous category of Commander!

  • We use our curated points sheet to provide players with guidelines for deck building. The points sheet is designed to enable players to have a wide range of deck building options while still remaining competitive in the League.
  • The points sheet is designed to discourage players from focusing on strategies that don't adhere to Wizards of the Coast's intent behind Bracket 3. In short, while players are allowed to build the most optimized list the bracket allows, that will most likely not put them in contention for the top spot each week.
  • Our points sheet system is designed to prioritize and reward fun balanced play instead of hyper-optimized competitive Magic. It's also designed to keep players competitive with each other through the duration of each season.

So how does it work?

  • Make an account with your email address and you'll get access to gameplay tracking. When you play your league games, track the points you've achieved on the site and submit your points totals at the end of each game. That's it! Pretty simple, right?
  • The site will also allow you to view League Standings in real time to see who the problem players are at the next League game, and the Player Profile page keeps track of your games so you can see how your decks have done and what's working best for you each League night.
  • Submitting your points also helps us to set up the best possible seeded rounds each night to make sure everyone stays competitive throughout the season.
